physiognomy
The Torchic are little chicks, covered with orange and yellow feathers lanigginose. Their wings are underdeveloped and almost useless, except to keep the Pokémon warm. However, well-developed legs and claws that allow it to run fast and pull scratches. They also have a crest of feathers on the head vaguely reminiscent of a flame. In addition they possess incendiary pockets like other Fire-type Pokémon, for example Vulpix and Flareon.
Differences between the sexes
Males Torchic have a small black dot on the back. The females do not have this kind of brand.
Special abilities
How many fire type Pokémon, Torchic is able to spit fire from the beak, or use it as physical attacks as a weapon to Peck.
Behavior
The Torchic are naturally curious and they need someone to guide them and educate them. Follow their coach unsteadily. individual personalities vary from mild to stubborn. The Torchic apparently hate the dark because they can not see what’s ahead of them.
Habitat
Torchic rarely found in the wild. It is more likely to find them in possession of coaches who have chosen as starter. In any case it is possible to meet wild Torchic in Hoenn.

TorchicTorchic
Curiosity
Primitive sketches of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire show a different Torchic, with big ears and a flame-shaped clump behind the head.
Torchic is the only starter Pokémon that you can encounter wild, A Crack in the Pokéwalker, along with Pikachu.
Before Pokémon Platinum, he and Pikachu were the only starter allowed in Concordia Park.
Torchic is the first starter based on a bird, the second is Piplup. Neither it evolves into a steering wheel type.
Torchic is the lightest among the basic shapes of the starter.
Although Torchic has no arms, he can learn Mega Punch through Insegnamosse. This is probably because its evolutions have arms.
Torchic is one of two initial Pokémon to have difference between the sexes (although very light: the male Torchic has a dark spot on the back); the other is Pikachu.
It is also the only starter in which all family members have differences between the sexes.
Torchic, Buizel and Floatzel are the only Pokémon whose gender differences are seen only in the back sprite.
Torchic is the first Fire-type starter not to have a fire in any part of the body; others are Tepig and Fennekin.
Torchic and its evolution family are the only non-Flying-type Pokémon to learn Mirror leveling up.
With Tepig, Torchic is the starter Fire-type with the lowest basic rate: only 45.
Torchic is the only Fire-type starter that Ash Ketchum has never had.
In the Fifth and Sixth Generation, Torchic learns a new move alternately every three levels, and then every six: 10, 16, 19, 25, 28 etc.
Torchic is the kind lighter Fire Pokémon.
Although Torchic is clearly based on a bird, it does not belong to the Group Eggs Volante. He shares this trait with Delibird and Piplup.
Torchic was distributed via Mystery Gift on the Nintendo 3DS system until January 14, 2014, ie in the first three months of Pokémon X and Y. This output Torchic holds a Megapietra, the Blazikenite, allowing Blaziken of Megaevolversi.
Torchic, like all other starter Pokémon type fire, is represented in the Chinese Zodiac in the form of rooster.
Origin
Torchic is inspired by a chick.
Origin of name
Its name comes from the union of the English words torch (flashlight) and chick (chick). Its Japanese name, ア チ ャ モ Achamo, is the union of 赤 aka (red) words, 赤子 akago (child) and 軍 鶏 shamo (a breed of Japanese birds, originally bred for cockfighting)
In other lingueBiologia
physiognomy
The appearance of Combusken reminiscent of a free-range. The first thing you notice after his evolution from Torchic is the development of the wings that, growing, they are strengthened and have taken the form of a pair of arms, the beak begins to flatten and lengthen.
It now has its claws at the end of the wings and its legs are also strongly developed; the latter may emit flames, giving him the opportunity to set fire to his kicks.
It also begins to develop a small tail, which, however, will remain atrophied when you evolve into Blaziken.
Differences between the sexes
The female has smaller crest.
Special abilities
Despite their pre-evolution, Combasken has arms, with which it can use moves like Sky Uppercut and Fire Punch. It can ignite the legs to use Calciardente.
Behavior
They are very noisy and can often be heard squawking. Fighting, their sharp cries are said to be very annoying.
Habitat
The Combusken are usually found in the plains and prairies. But sometimes I can also find in the hills and mountains.
Diet
Main article: Pokémon food
In the anime
It appears for the first time in the episode Evolution surprise, where Max, having to look after Torchic Vera but losing it instead of view, it evolves by mistake a copy of Pokémon Center of Porto Selcepoli into believing his sister to be his Pokémon evolved.
In the episode The apples of discord, the Torchic Vera evolves into Combusken fighting of Breloom.

Curiosity
Although the Pokédex says that emits squeals to increase its concentration, can not learn Howl.

Origin
Combusken is probably based on a fighting chicken.
Origin of name
His name is a cross between the English words combustible (fuel) and chicken (chicken). Its Japanese name, ワ カ シ ャ モ Wakashamo, a contraction of the words ワ カ イ Wakai (young), 赤 aka (red) and 軍 鶏 shamo (birds breed of Japanese, originally bred for cockfighting).
In other languages

Blaziken

MegaBlaziken
Blaziken
The appearance of Blaziken reminiscent of a chicken. Its main colors are red and yellow-orange, colors that refer to its affinity with fire. Moreover, its color variation has more or less the same color just a little ‘darker: instead of a burgundy red color; orange is replaced by an intense ocher and yellow hair is white, almost albino. The face is sharp and ends with a sharp beak. It seems to have a red mask with two points upwards. The neck is covered entirely by a long-haired or blonde mane that also ends at the chest coprendogli basin. The slender arms end with bandages on her wrists and hands (provided with three fingers), similar to those worn by martial arts practitioners. From these then they sprout claws that uses in many of its attacks. The legs are long and strong, and end with a pattern and color reminiscent of the flames; the ends of the legs, in fact, is yellow-orange in color unlike the rest of the body and the beginning and the end of this color is in a zig-zag, as the flames. Her feet, although difficult to see because of its plumage similar to a flame, they have three fingers as the hands and also dangerous claws. It also has a small pointy red tail also wrapped in his soft plumage.
MegaBlaziken
With the power of Blazikenite, Blaziken takes over the red / orange color, even black / brown shades on certain body parts, such as the knees or the abdominal area. His position is now more combative, is ready to launch a Calcioardente since he entered the game. His hair you have as to form an X around his head, up to the chest like a bib; Furthermore the two points are transformed into a single central striker. But the biggest difference are the flames coming out of the Blaziken wrists: These four strips of fire from the red / orange color extending to almost a meter, swaying like a real fireplace.
Before the advent of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Omega Alpha the Megaevoluzione was possible only if you attended the special distribution of a Torchic to level 10 with Blazikenite. Now you can get it in the new games on Route 114 if the initial player’s Pokémon is Torchic.
Differences between the sexes
NET-ON.ORG
NET-ON.ORG
NET-ON.ORG
The differences between male and female Blaziken are two: the crown and the two points on the face. His hair or mane in males is longer and more dense than that of females. The second difference is more difficult to notice: the two points on the face that depart from the Blaziken beak are slightly longer than in males.
Special abilities
He can make leaps and deliver impressive fists, enough to knock down with a punch or jump with a leap a building of 30 floors. When you pull any punches and kicks, from the wrists and the legs emits very high temperature flames that in the worst case can burn the enemy.
Behavior
Blaziken learns martial arts that use punches and kicks. A lapse of several years, its feathers burn and are replaced by a new plumage.
Habitat
Blaziken is a very rare Pokémon in the wild. It is easier to find and customary as an evolution of the initial Pokémon of a coach. Almost impossible to find, but it is possible to meet him in Hoenn. Given the few wild specimens in circulation and the rarity of an encounter with one of these Pokémon in the wild, they are not familiar with the habits fund, life and behavior of free Blaziken in nature.

Curiosity
Initially Blaziken and Latias were a single Pokémon, but then it was decided to “divide”.
Blaziken is the only Pokémon that is not Flying-type, learning Brave Bird. This could be explained by the fact that the Pre-Evolution is a chick, but even so the chicks can not fly
It is one of four Fighting-type Pokémon, leveling up, learns a Flying-type move. The others are Heracross, Infernape and Mienshao.
But Blaziken is the only one who can learn three: Peck, Brave Bird and Mirror.
Blaziken is the only fully evolved starter Pokémon to appear in the anime before the debut of his generation.
MegaBlaziken has the highest base stats of all type not Fight legendary Pokémon.
In the sixth generation it added a Megaevoluzione, which retains the dual-type Fire / Fighting.
It was also the first third-generation starter Pokémon to own a Megaevoluzione.
Origin
Based on a fighting cock but could be inspired to Bashan, fire-breathing bird of Japanese mythology and its appearance resembles the Egyptian gods Horus and Ra.
Origin of name
His name is a cross between the English words blaze (blaze) and chicken (chicken). Its Japanese name, バ シ ャ ー モ Bursyamo, comes from English burst (burst) or burn (burn) and 軍 鶏 shamo (birds breed of Japanese, originally bred for cockfighting).

Biology
physiognomy
The Mudkip are small blue Pokémon similar to amphibians, with orange external large heads and gills with three strikers. They also have a fin on his head and another large light blue striped like tail fin. The belly is the same color. They move on all fours given the great weight of the head.
Differences between the sexes
None.
Special abilities
The Mudkip can use the fin on their heads to detect subtle changes in the air and in water currents, and are able to detect objects near water. They can also identify hazards. How many water Pokémon, the Mudkip can shoot water from their mouths. When you are in the water, they breathe with gills on her cheeks. On the ground, they can be raised with bracing power with their four-legged and developing a lot of strength. They sleep burrowing into the ground at the edge of the water. Their tail fin drives them through the water with powerful acceleration. If you are facing a tense situation in the struggle, the Mudkip become strong enough to crush rocks bigger than themselves.
Behavior
The Mudkip are more tender of their evolution, but in general are very protective and, thanks to their great strength tend to cluster and easily defeat the enemy.
Habitat
The Mudkip and members of its evolutionary family live in marshes or other wetlands, within very lonely islands, because of their aversion to fresh water lakes and ponds. Immediately after birth (which takes place on the beautiful beaches), swimming to burrow deep into the marshes within the islands. Appear to be very few specimens born in the swamps.

MudkipMudkip
Curiosity
Mudkip is the only Water-type starter to be quadruped, although its Marshtomp and Swampert evolutions are also able to walk on two legs. However Froakie is able to walk on two is that on four legs.
Mudkip has the highest statistic of Attack between all the choke in their basic form.
In a survey conducted by Nintendo of Europe, Mudkip was voted as the favorite of the fans, with Typhlosion and Blastoise immediately behind.
Origin
This Pokémon is based on mudpuppy or perhaps the axolotl.
Origin of name
The Mudkip name is a combination of mud (mud) and skip (jump) and was probably chosen because it sounds like mudskipper (mudskippers) or mudpuppy (a suborder of aquatic salamander salamandroidea). Its Japanese name is probably based 水 mizu, “water” and ム ツ ゴ ロ ウ Mutsugoro, “mudskippers.”
